Request for Photo Gallery Addition/Modification
The Ocean Pines Camera Club is proud of the photography skills of its members and established this page as a showcase for members' work. In order to be fair to all members the maximum number of photographs in each gallery is 30.
If you are a member of the Ocean Pines Camera Club and would like to have a new Photo Gallery added under your name or if you would like to modify your existing photo gallery, send an email to webmaster@oceanpinescameraclub.org that contains the following information:
- your name;
- whether or not you wish to sell the photos on display and, if so, the appropriate contact information;
- if this is a modification to an existing Photo Gallery, let us know which currently displayed pictures you wish to have replaced by the photos attached to your email;
- finally, attach the photos themselves to your email (preferably as a single .zip file).
The webmaster will contact you if additional clarifying information is required.
Please note that photos displayed on a website have a maximum width/height of 800 pixels - so sending images much larger than this will serve no purpose and will simply cause additional wait time while the files are uploaded. We recommend that you resize large photo files prior to sending them to us. If you use Microsoft Windows XP, there is an excellent free program for resizing .jpg images, the Windows PowerToys Image Resizer, which can be downloaded at this link XP Powertoys.
The PowerToys Image Resizer is a small program that integrates itself into Microsoft's Windows Explorer. After installation, to resize an image you need only execute a mouse right-click on the selected file (or files) and a resize option will be displayed in the Explorer pop-up window.
If for any reason you decide that you no longer wish to display your photographs in the Member Gallery, please inform us by sending an email to webmaster@oceanpinescameraclub.org.
